As Working Student at FRV, you will contribute significantly to our project development
team and get an excellent opportunity to enhance and practice your skills with
geoinformation systems, data management and land acquisition. We are a small and
agile team, where roles can be developed flexibly following personal interests and
specific skillsets. We are seeking a highly motivated person with a background in
engineering/ landscape planning who shares our passion and wants to support us in
our mission of advancing the energy transition.
Working Student (m/w/d) for Project Development in Renewable Energies
Tasks
As part of the Project Development team, this position will be accountable for the
following tasks:
- Researching, screening and contacting contractors and consultants for
environmental and engineering studies - Working with QGIS and optionally AutoCAD to create plans and layouts
- Supporting the documentation and monitoring of project permitting processes
(Bauleitplanung) - ESG-reporting using various reporting platforms and tools
- Other ad-hoc duties.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program with
(environmental) planning context (i.e. Geography, Geosciences, Environmental
Sciences, Landscape Planning, Architecture, Engineeering…) - Skills with GIS applications like ArcGIS, QGIS, AutoCAD or others of advantage
- Good communication skills, especially in written form
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Very good command of the German and English language, both orally and in
writing - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced
environment - You are enthusiastic and want to make a contribution to the energy transition
- You are available ideally 20 hours per week. This can be flexibly arranged around
exams or deadlines.
