In our "Research & Technology" division, you will be conducting research in an industrial environment, which will include the basic principles for developing new components as well as the measuring and production technologies needed for the production processes. You will be working in interdisciplinary teams, have access to modern equipment and research laboratories and cooperate with institutes and universities. You will develop concepts for the next generations of our key components and work on making them real using new technologies. To do this, we are growing rapidly and are looking for new talent to join us in pushing technology to new frontiers.
Student Intern in Strategic Product Development
Tasks
As a student intern in Strategic Product Development, you will:
- Assist in researching high-tech topics and identify optimizations for our precision components to meet the high flatness requirements in the nanometer range.
- Participate in simulations to carry out physical experiments virtually.
- Co-develop and apply algorithms and simulation programs/models.
- Implement and evaluate parameter studies in order to identify the best possible variables for the specific case.
- Process, compare and visualize measurement and simulation data in order to arrive at suitable hypotheses for the further development of our components for the semiconductor industry.
Requirements
- You are studying engineering, applied mathematics or physics.
- You have some experience in modeling and simulation and are familiar with the finite element method (FEM).
- You have a good knowledge of MATLAB or experience with programming languages such as Python or Octave.
- You understand the basics of engineering mechanics.
- You have a talent for communication and speak English fluently.
- You enjoy teamwork, are reliable and are interested in long-term collaboration.
