As a student intern in Strategic Product Development, you will:

• Assist in researching high-tech topics and identify optimizations for our precision components to meet the high flatness requirements in the nanometer range.
• Participate in simulations to carry out physical experiments virtually.
• Co-develop and apply algorithms and simulation programs/models.
• Implement and evaluate parameter studies in order to identify the best possible variables for the specific case.
• Process, compare and visualize measurement and simulation data in order to arrive at suitable hypotheses for the further development of our components for the semiconductor industry.

• You are studying engineering, applied mathematics or physics.
• You have some experience in modeling and simulation and are familiar with the finite element method (FEM).
• You have a good knowledge of MATLAB or experience with programming languages such as Python or Octave.
• You understand the basics of engineering mechanics.
• You have a talent for communication and speak English fluently.
• You enjoy teamwork, are reliable and are interested in long-term collaboration.
