Job Description

Join us for this unique opportunity to explore diverse aspects of legal, GDPR and ESG topics, to make a meaningful impact on our operations in these areas, and to shape our future strategies also.

Our Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Team looks after data protection/GDPR, legal, and contract & ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) compliance. As our Working Student GDPR & Legal (f/m/x), you will gain exposure to this wide range of topics, support us in applying our legal and GDPR practices and processes, and advise on legal matters concerning our employees, customers, and suppliers. Furthermore, you will help shape and implement our ESG agenda and roadmap.

The essence of your role

Evaluate Data Processing Agreements with new suppliers and customers to ensure GDPR compliance.
Coordinate with our external data protection officer for effective data protection strategies.
Review contracts with suppliers and customers, considering jurisdiction and compliance requirements.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date GDPR and compliance documentation and ensure employees complete GDPR training to enhance data protection awareness.
Support annual ESG reporting to investors and strategic planning of our ESG roadmap.

Requirements

This is what you need to succeed:

Enrolled at a university focusing on law, commercial law, or related subjects.
Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively conveying complex topics concisely.
Self-driven with a proven ability to independently develop and propose solutions, including experience in implementing and addressing challenges associated with process changes.
Inquisitive mindset with a passion for continuous learning.
Outstanding English and German language skills at C1/C2 level.
