Technische Universität Berlin offers an open position:

Student assistant (60 hours per month)

Tasks

As part of the “Treasure Hunting” project, an interdisciplinary teaching format for patent valorization is being developed. The project incorporates methods such as Design Thinking, soft-skill training, and a custom-developed evaluation tool for business models and sustainability. The work is closely integrated with academic staff and carried out under their supervision.

Tasks (under the supervision of academic staff):

a) Editing of scientific texts (50 %)
b) Scientific assistance in the field of data- and software-supported research processes:

  • Support in the preparation and analysis of data with Python (20%)
  • Support with systematic literature searches (30%)

Requirements

Must criteria:

  • Good knowledge of Python
  • Very Good English skills (written and spoken)

Can criteria:

  • Experience with qualitative or quantitative research methods
  • Interest in entrepreneurship, innovation, and/or sustainability topics.
  • Good German skills (written and spoken)
  • Familiarity in working with scientific texts, publications or software development in the context of research
  • Independent and structured working style with the ability to collaborate in interdisciplinary research settings
