Working student Application Engineer (f/m/d)
We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Working Student to join our Engineering team and gain valuable hands-on experience in application engineering.
Tasks
- Identify and explore potential applications for our technology.
- Design and model mechanical parts and systems tailored to specific applications using CAD tools.
- Apply our in-house software AMAIZE to real-world engineering problems and use cases.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation and user manuals for internal and external use.
- Collaborate closely with engineers to develop and test solutions.
- Support internal knowledge bases and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare results and visuals for marketing purposes.
- Support marketing processes by providing technical input and content.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a university program, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, other engineering fields, or Math or Physics.
- Proficiency in CAD tools is required.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, C++) or engineering tools (e.g., MATLAB).
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken
- Ability to understand and work with technical documentation, as well as to design marketing content.
- Familiarity with additive manufacturing processes is a plus.
