Description: The internship programme is for candidates currently pursuing a university degree and is usually undertaken during the second or penultimate year of study. Start dates are flexible (summer or off-cycle) and the programme will last approximately 10-12 weeks. It is designed to fully immerse the candidate in the day-to-day activities of the private markets real estate team.

Role and Responsibilities: Our European Private Markets Real Estate Team is situated in London. They are looking for motivated interns to join the investment team in London for 10-12 weeks. An internship at Global Gate Capital will provide a graduate with excellent real estate private equity experience and outstanding learning opportunities. It will also provide great access to liaise with teams throughout GGC, senior management of companies and other external market participants (e.g. bankers, brokers, advisers, private equity funds, real estate investors, etc.)

Role Summary: The role will be varied, challenging and highly rewarding. Typical day-to-day responsibilities will involve the following:

• Financial Modelling
• Market Research
• Drafting of memoranda for internal and external use
• Development and preparation of presentation
• Performing various analyses to assist in making investment decisions
• Real estate DCF and company valuations
• Assisting with due diligence and execution of transactions

Required Skills:

• Strong academic track record
• Strong Interest in Real Estate
• Working proficiency in German is a requirement
• Very strong excel and financial modelling skills
• Positive and eager attitude with a willingness and curiosity to learn
• Strong work ethic and ability to handle multiple projects at the same time
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging work environment making time management and work prioritization essential skills
• Ability to learn quickly, take initiative and demonstrate proactivity in approach to work
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with capacity to interact at all levels
• Team player mentality and strong sense of ownership
