Tasks

Your tasks will include:

  • Scientific Research and Analysis: You will engage deeply with the latest research in Financial Science and Climate Science. You will read, analyze, and evaluate these studies to extract valuable insights. Strong skills in scientific citation are essential for this task.

  • Data Analysis and Visualization: You will play a key role in supporting data analysis and creating clear visualizations to present complex information in an easily understandable way.

  • Strategic Research: You will conduct foundational research, organize it with precision, and provide the basis for strategic decision-making.

  • Project Support in Daily Operations: You will assist the team in daily project operations, ensuring that our projects run smoothly and successfully.

  • Communication and Knowledge Sharing: You will contribute to a productive and collaborative work environment by sharing your knowledge openly and clearly with the team through consistent communication.

Requirements

To be successful in this exciting role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:

  • Working Student (enrolled): You are currently enrolled in a relevant field of study such as Economics, Climate Science, Statistics, or a related area. You reside in Berlin.

  • Initiative and Independence: You work independently, show initiative, and bring creative solutions to projects.

  • Analytical Skills and Research Strength: You are skilled in researching, analyzing, and evaluating scientific publications, and you can present strategic information accurately as well as summarize complex content in an understandable way.

  • Knowledge of Data Analysis and Visualization: Experience with GNU R is required; familiarity with other data analysis tools is a plus.

  • Fluent English Skills: You have excellent written and spoken English skills.

  • Communication Skills: You communicate clearly and transparently and actively contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
